Mi práctica artística se inspira en las observaciones de la calle y el paisaje urbano, apreciados a través del acto de caminar como modo primario de estar y habitar la ciudad contemporánea.

El cuerpo en movimiento propicia encuentros estéticos con escenas, materialidades y juegos de superficies que me interesa poner en diálogo con el lenguaje y los materiales textiles, que requieren a su vez un tiempo y ritmos específicos asociados al hacer manual.

De ida y vuelta, me mueve buscar el textil en la ciudad y la ciudad en el textil.

ABOUT MY TEXTILE WORK

My artistic practice is inspired by observations of the street and the urban landscape, experienced through the act of walking as a primary way of being and inhabiting the contemporary city.

The moving body allows me to engage aesthetically with scenes, materialities, and surface interactions that I seek to bring into dialogue with textile language and materials, which, in turn, require specific timeframes and rhythms associated with manual craftsmanship.

Back and forth, I am driven by the search for textiles in the city and the city in textiles.
